Hello students! I'm your new Style Teacher, Sophie Strauss.

I am a stylist for regular people and I've worked with over 600 clients of all ages, genders, sizes, and backgrounds on style struggles ranging from red carpet to preschool pickup, weddings to funerals, breakups and court appearances, festivals and bachelorette parties, and countless more life occasions that require you to put on clothes. For something we all have to do every day, getting dressed has become too stressful. We are inundated with ads, breakneck trend cycles, low-quality clothes, body shame, overwhelm, and boredom – all relentlessly pumped at us by an industry that is harming people and the planet. It shouldn't have to be this hard. That's where I come in.

I bring an inclusive, sustainable, and individualized approach to every client I work with – because style has never been one-size-fits all. I've built my career working with people to break free of these cycles and find an authentic, expressive, and ethical way to build a lasting wardrobe. And while I love working with people one-on-one, I wanted to create a more widely accessible, community-driven space for anyone who wants to have more confidence and agency when getting dressed.

Style School is exactly what it sounds like! A place for you to learn the style skills you need to build a wardrobe you love. You'll get exclusive essays, videos, classes, shopping guides, workbooks, and more. I cover topics like the fashion industry, style principles, culture, tips, hacks, outfit ideas, interviews, and stories that will help you truly hone your personal style. It's also a forum where you can connect with other likeminded folks on their own sustainable, affirming style journey.
