My Vintage Picks for Farm Life

There's a lot of new faces here at Style School, so I want to re-introduce one of my absolute favorite perks of being here – the Shopping Bag!

(also I have never used AI in my life I just really love an em dash okay?!)

The Shopping Bag is a curated monthly selection of second-hand and vintage pieces I'm loving sent right to your inbox in the form of a clickable, shoppable mood board. Each Shopping Bag has a theme – a season, a designer, a category of item. And each typically contains items that are all under $150 (though sometimes for designer-inspired themes I raise that to ~$300). Also, for size-inclusivity purposes I tend to focus more on accessories than clothing but if I do include clothes or shoes I try to ensure a hearty size range of pieces. In the past I've even dedicated whole shopping bags to a particular shoe size, or done plus size exclusive shopping bags that range from XL - 6X to try to make up for the dreadful lack of sizes available for the designer-inspired bags.

This month's Shopping Bag is inspired by my first two months of Farm Life (will I ever shut up about moving from Los Angeles to a farm? No!). It's a four-page shoppable mood board full of all the types of pieces I've found myself leaning on for this more outdoorsy, active, dirt and animal-filled life. I've been trying to pay close attention to the garments that are super practical while still allowing me to feel expressive and connected to myself and figured that, even for folks who aren't living on a farm, these pieces might be super useful because they are comfortable, easy to take care of, and durable.
